An all-new update to the acclaimed Calypso® email program, Courier presents an impressive combination of rich feature set, unsurpassed security, and ease of use. With the ability to turn off display of HTML mail and an encrypted address book, Courier is immune to current email "worms" that replicate themselves by harvesting email addresses from the Windows Address Book and forwarding themselves to all of your contacts.

Among the new features in Version 3.5 are "Color Markers" to help organize messages within your mailbox folders by flagging urgent or other types of messages with a unique font style and color, easy switching between plain text and HTML display from a toolbar button, and customizable security settings to prevent scripts and other potentially dangerous items in HTML mail from executing. The already powerful filtering features have been buttressed with new options including an address book "white list" to verify whether a message's sender is in your address book, and to automatically apply various Color Markers to messages based on criteria you define.

Courier's unique mailbox format makes it simple to move your mail and settings between computers (such as your desktop to laptop, or from home to work) by storing all messages, settings and account information in a single file. This feature also makes it a snap to access your mailbox across a LAN, an extremely handy feature for home and small office networks. Optional password protection of the mailbox file makes your information secure wherever it goes.
